Matt has had quite an extensive musical career being the leading role in several past bands. Flipside, Brothers in Arms, Sea of Souls, No Longer Perfect, and Forgive and Forget to name a few. Many of these bands had significant exposure.
 
Specifically Forgive and Forget was invited to participate in a pilot episode of ‘Unsung’, a reality show for independent bands in Canada for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Unfortunately the series never made it to air. Additionally, Forgive and Forget also had the opportunity to open for Breaking Benjamin in 2007 at the muSICK series at the Docks nightclub in Toronto, Canada.
 
Matt’s musical style can be attributed to a variety of classic rock with essences of heavy metal and even blues. Having been a self taught guitar player for seven years he continues to evolve his abilities in a technical and as well the emotional aspect of the instrument.

Matt is also a marijuana officiando and political activist towards to legalization and regulation of the tasty green ganja.
