The first time I picked up a bass, I never thought I would still keep playing.
Well I must say, I'm a little addicted to playing this instrument.
It's been great playing in this band, it's quite recent we started, and so far it's pretty awesome jamming. In the past my interests were sort of similar to now, but if I was never convinced to join a band my life would be going in quite a different direction I think.
My style at first was inspired by punk, but instead I really enjoyed alternative rock, hmmm.. maybe with some funky time signatures too, taught by my band members.Then one day I found something I enjoyed just as much jazz, blues, and funk! although I'm still an amateur I was very inspired. After that when I jam by myself I like to put a little funky riff thrown in there.
I must say if I wasn't in this band and I was with totally different band members It wouldn't be as much fun.
